Viennese art nouveau side table J-J Kohn in early 20th century

Side table, servant, designated "fantasy table" at Kohn under No. 930 of the 1902 catalogue. A beautiful piece, elegant and massive, which declines around a turned wooden axis, a geometric play of curved woods, arches and rings, with "flat" sections (influence of Viennese architects in art nouveau) on a tripod footing. A small engraved mesh decoration discreetly highlights the contours of the model. The patina is original, the varnish has retained all its luster. Beautiful hue between cherry and mahogany. Rare in this state, and especially a very beautiful solid wooden tray free of any accident or stain of use. This side table can, depending on your "fantasy", be installed as a pedestal, reading table, dessert, harness, plant rack, or other support for the enhancement of a light fixture, decorative objects, etc. Label and stamp J-J Kohn Teschen in the inner belt of the tray. Height 79 cm - Plateau 50 cm.
