Eames Herman Miller 2nd generation DAX fibreglass chair in parchment / white

Original 1950s Charles Eames for Herman Miller chair in off white fibreglass shell on an original H base. Very collectable 2nd generation early production chair complete with its original large shockmounts. In good vintage condition.  No chips or cracks in the fibreglass.  The shockmounts are in good condition.  Some minor scuffs here and there but nothing serious.   The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. Approximate dimensions: Width: 63.5cm Depth: 61cm Height: 79cm Seat height: 45cm. This can also be supplied on a differnt base of your choice. A midcentury classic. The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
