Description
Louis xiii-style cabinet with two bodies opening through two doors with a central drawer, in walnut, 17th century with the rare peculiarity of presenting the upper part in recessed. Corniches and pedestals frame the two blocks, placed on ball feet. A cake-tipped decor characteristic of the style, highlighted by numerous mouldings of geometric shapes: diamonds and rectangles and cartridges patterned with bird pennes to mark the frames. A key opens the two fronts. Today, this piece of furniture with an icy brown patina offers a decoration that is both sober and massive in an interior with the spirit of "a dandy's mansion" or "baroque curiosity cabinet". The testimony of the craftsmanship of our ancestors is present everywhere in sculpture, assembly, the manufacture of panels. The hand of the man who thought it and made it is still there, before our eyes and under the hand of the one who will love him in turn! Great depths of storage for blankets, duvets, linens, toys, or in a kitchen to conceal small appliances (microwave, toast, coffee maker, kettle or bottles and preserves). Anything is possible! State "in its juice": furniture maintained with a very beautiful patina while being marked with traces of use and redesign in past centuries. Dimensions (cm): l120 X p65 X h198 with low l120 X p65 X h118 - high l92 X p54 X h80. Low door l60xh63. High door l64xh60.
