Silver-plated tray with handles

Elegant rectangular serving tray in silver-plated metal, featuring a simple and harmonious silhouette with widely rounded corners. The two finely chiseled side handles, adorned with Louis XV-inspired scrolls, ensure an excellent grip. The quality of craftsmanship, the shiny polish of the silver plate, and the balance of proportions make it a piece that is both practical and decorative. In very good overall condition, there are fine usage scratches in the centre of the tray, which are normal given its use. There are also signs of silver loss around the edge of the tray on the front and back. The silver plating retains a lovely shine. French work from the mid-20th century, unmarked.
