Blue molded opaline goblin glass

This cup or toothpick holder "osier" is made of blue opaline. This "fair opaline" is a small pot or cup to receive toothpicks at the table. Decorated with a motif imitating basketry, it was presented in the portieux catalogue as early as 1894. Dating back to the late 19th century or early 20th century, these pressed-moulded glass opalines were sold at popular fairs or markets. Cigarette holder, curedent holder, cup, glass, small vase bulb, we can find different uses... In good general condition, I report small shards at the edge and defects and marbling in the color.
