Swedish design metamorphic teak table 1960s

Metamorphic table by danish designer kai kristiansen, modular in coffee table or dining table. It was designed in the 1960s, known as "elevator" for vildbjerg mabelfabrik. The waist can be raised and enlarged thanks to its two flaps that slide under the table. This teak table is in very beautiful vintage condition, just a scratch on a corner of the board (see 3rd photo) but everything else is impeccable. It has the distinction of being very large with a length of 144cm (standard length 120cm) and has a revised door underneath. A marvel of simple and efficient mechanics. Both chic and so practical. Low table dimensions h54cm, l144cm, l54cm. Table to eat dimensions h71cm, l144cm, p89cm. The flaps that unfold are each 17.5cm wide.
