A hand-painted blown crystal pitcher and four glasses. Decorated with pink and fuchsia flowers and their green foliage. Three pink borders complete the design. Made in the 1970s in the workshops of the Cristallerie de Hartzviller in Moselle. The Lorraine crystal factory was founded in 1932 and produced mouth-blown and hand-shaped items in accordance with artisanal traditions, for table and home decoration thanks to a team of 60 master glassmakers. It supplied luxury hotels such as the Ritz, the Crillon, and the Plaza Athénée. It closed in 2004. Very good condition, a scratch on the front of the carafe and a small firing defect on the rim of one glass (see photos). Dimensions of the carafe: diameter with handle 16 cm, diameter without handle 12 cm, height 25.5 cm. Glass dimensions: diameter 6 cm, height 14.5 cm. Weight without packaging 1.8 kg. Sold together.
