Olivetti lettera 12 - 1979 - vintage portable azerty typewriter

Italian design at its best! Designed in 1978 by mario belinni, designer of olivetti, the letteta 10 (and later the lettera 12) was the first typewriter to get rid of ribbon reels, using an 8mm black ribbon cartridge of fabric instead. Much easier to use, it has a very distinct design, with a matte beige finish. Aesthetically, the typewriter is in excellent shape. It has no rust on metal parts, and plastics are free of cracks or missing parts. It has its original hard plastic case, which is also in very good condition. Comes with 2 new ribbon cartridges (still in their packaging.
