1930s Austrian Art Deco walnut burl sideboard

A stunning Austrian sideboard from the 1930s, featuring an elegant structure with the soft yet geometric lines characteristic of Austrian Art Deco and the *Wiener Moderne* style. The piece showcases a spectacular walnut burl veneer—rich and highly decorative—with a dynamic natural grain pattern and a refined, near-symmetrical arrangement across the doors. The wood's warm hue and finish further accentuate its depth and tonal nuances. The sideboard features two large front doors with a central decorative lock and includes internal shelving, offering ample storage space. A distinctive feature is the raised base, designed with a shaped plinth and a central opening—an element that contributes to the piece's strong character. A striking statement piece, it is ideal for both classic interiors and contemporary settings, where it can create a sophisticated contrast between the antique and the modern. The piece has been polished and shows normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. The lock is decorative. Free shipping in France, possibility of shipping throughout Europe and worldwide.
