Salins-les-Bains earthenware: Vintage oyster platter and six oyster plates

These lovely oyster plates and large oyster platter were made of earthenware by Salins-les-Bains in the 1950s/60s. There are six plates, each with six indentations for your shellfish and a central compartment for lemon. The large serving platter, which is quite rare, has 18 indentations and also features a central compartment. All the plates are in good vintage condition, without chips, cracks, or fissures. There are a few imperfections in the glaze on one or two plates, near the bottom edge, as well as some minor scratches from use. The oyster plates are 24 cm in diameter and measure approximately 2.5 cm from the base to the rim. Each plate weighs 520 g unpacked (x 6 = 3.12 kg). The large serving platter is 40.5 cm in diameter and also measures approximately 2.5 cm from the top edge to the bottom edge.
