The 4875 model chair is the world's first chair made of injection-molded polypropylene. Carlo Bartoli designed it in 1970. Kartell began production in 1974, and the chair has enjoyed enormous success worldwide due to its innovative design and high-quality materials. Furthermore, its versatility allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors, as it is resistant to shocks and atmospheric agents. In the 4875 model, the chair and backrest are a single body; only the legs can be unscrewed. The 4875 chair was nominated for the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is part of the permanent exhibition at the Musée National des Arts - Centre Pompidou - Paris and, of course, the Kartell Museum. A rare vintage chair, a testament to the innovative production techniques and materials of the golden age of Italian design. Item: Dining chair. Model: 4875. Designer: Carlo Bartoli.
