Rare low chair in dark stained pine, with large sections of wood connected by logs. These cylindrical elements, positioned at each end, frame the seat and dress the backrest, both upholstered in fawn-colored imitation leather. This marriage of raw and warm materials perfectly illustrates the functional and mountain aesthetic specific to the developments of les arcs. This low chair comes from les arcs 1600, more precisely from the bar l'edelweiss, located on place du soleil. The architectural design of this space was carried out by charlotte perriand and bernard taillefer in 1973, under the direction of charlotte perriand and roger godino. This piece was designed by bernard taillefer france, circa 1973 in original condition with losses and traces of use. This piece is attributed to the designer above, but does not bear signs of authentication.
