Charolles earthenware lamp by Jacques Molin, France circa 1970

Very pretty vintage lamp circa 1970 by the French ceramist Jacques Molin. Baluster-shaped base in pale pink Charolles earthenware, characteristic with its slightly cracked effect, resting on a black lacquered wooden base and supporting a slightly conical lampshade in woven cotton with floral hydrangea decoration. The total height of the lamp is 59.5 cm including 34 cm for the base (diameter of the base 16 cm, belly 20 cm, neck 6 cm) and 27 cm for the lampshade (diameters of 40 and 20 cm). Socket and socket support in brass. 150 cm black electric cord. In excellent condition (no cracks, chips or stains on the lampshade), this pretty, very soft lamp will suit a chic country atmosphere or will look great in a little girl's bedroom.
