Color engravings, Madame and Monsieur Lalive de Jully, after Joseph Ducreux, 25 x 28 cm

These two color engravings, produced by joseph ducreux in 1764 and 1765 respectively, present the portraits of ange laurent lalive de jully and his wife. The portrait of madame lalive de jully, dating from 1764, represents her half-length, elegantly adorned with a ribbon around her neck, in a costume characteristic of the modern era. That of monsieur lalive de jully, made in 1765, also shows him half-length, wearing a costume from the same period. In excellent state of conservation. Dimensions 25 cm by 28 cm margins included for the smallest format.
