This adorable little enameled ceramic pitcher has very beautiful pastel blue (old blue, very slightly lighter in reality than in the photos) and caramel colors which go wonderfully together and lovely proportions. The neck is very thin, so it is difficult to clean inside but will be perfect as a little trinket for accumulation, or for watering your small houseplants. It is numbered 14 below. The shape and colors of the “flamed” enamelling are entirely reminiscent of the production of the denbac brand of ceramist rené denert, but this is not signed so there is no certainty. But this factory, which permanently closed its doors in 1952, turned from the 1930s to so-called advertising and tourist ceramics and in particular small vials or pitchers (for liquorists among others), but this pitcher contained the remains of 'an inscription added after cooking (we guessed that it said loudun, charming little town where I found this pitcher) but this inscription, already half erased, disappeared completely when I cleaned (by rubbing a little hard I 'admits) the pitcher. It is in good general condition, just slight chips on the enameling at the pouring spout. It measures 11 cm in height, 8 cm in width (including handle and belly) and 7 cm in maximum diameter.
