1970s Astonishing Italian tray by Albatros in Murano glass.

Exquisite 1970s Italian tray, crafted by Albatros in Murano, is a striking marriage of traditional glassmaking techniques and bold modernist design. It stands out as a highly sophisticated vintage accent for any collection. The tray is framed by a captivating cobalt blue and clear glass checkerboard pattern. This striking geometric motif offers a dynamic, contemporary edge that beautifully offsets the classic medium of Murano glass. The rectangular core features a clear, subtly textured surface reminiscent of crushed ice. This gently rippled effect not only provides a tactile richness but also expertly diffuses light, creating an elegant backdrop for displaying barware, decanters, or art objects. It's in excellent condition and signed with its original label on the bottom.
