Hello, here is a seat with a backrest lined with a stepladder, produced by the american company cosco (columbus specialty company) which presented the first complete range of household stools made entirely of metal, after the second world war. This example dates from the 1960s. Its skai seat is swivel; the seat then transforms into a very solid stepladder thanks to its tubular chrome steel structure carrying two non-slip steps. It is in a very good state of conservation, bearing slight traces of time visible in the photographs. Please note that its hardware was replaced in places. - seat height: 59 cm - thank you for your visit.
