Carina pendant light, Design Light A/S, Denmark, 1980

This pendant light with elegant and curved lines takes up the emblematic design of scandinavian modernism. It is part of the great tradition of danish design, alongside the creations of jo hammerborg (fog og mørup), bent karlby (lyfa) and svend middelboe (nordisk solar). It takes up the principle of the multi-lampshade imagined by poul henningsen for louis poulsen, guaranteeing optimally diffused light. Its multi-lampshade system perfectly diffuses light in the room without the bulb being visible. It was popularized by poul henningsen for the louis poulsen house at the beginning of the 20th century and allows light to be diffused in the room without the bulb being visible. The lamp is ready to use very good vintage condition with slight traces of use (see photos as part of the description).
