Vintage wooden floor lamp revisited

Floor lamp in solid oak wood "second hand" pickled with aeroscrub. Fine sanding finish, left in raw. For a second life, its original shade has gone from very dark brown to a beautiful trendy light oak shade! One can appreciate the veining of the wood with its imperfections that gives it its unique handmade style. Note some cracks in the wood in some places. It seems that it is either a creation, or a transformation carried out by a cabinetmaker. The small holes that can be observed, are imitations of holes made by wood animals, probably created to accentuate the ancient effect of wood. Sober and elegant moldings matched to a base of an opulent column resting on a round molded base and a square base. It unscrews in three places to change the electric kit. The base is engraved with the logo of the workshop. Raffia lampshade and new electrical system. Dimensions of the foot diameter 35 h 128 (socket included). Total height with lampshade 145.5.
