Baumann skaï imitation red leather chairs 50s

With their compass legs and their original burgundy red skaï (very slightly darker than in the photos), these chairs are dapper! They will put color in your interior! And in addition, they are very comfortable! It seems to me that this is the essor model of the baumann manufacture, but with pyramidal feet (and not conical as on other models). They date from the 50s (maybe 60s) and it is quite rare to find them in such good condition: solid, stable, seat padding in good condition, skai almost intact. But obviously they still show some signs of their age: some small marks on the skaï (small and few punches not through, small discreet spots, discolorations). On one of the chairs, the screws on the back of the backrest are different. On one of the chairs the skaï is perfectly stretched, on the other two the skaï seems a little distended on the front of the backrest (following a dismantling of the backrest, for one it was me who disassembled it because a lot of dirt embedded between the seat and the backrest, for the other it was like this when I found them, but I guess the same goes for this one, the folder was probably dismantled for cleaning). Marks on the wood of the feet too, including the usual ones, on the ends of the legs of the chairs that have seen the mop pass too often. I cleaned them thoroughly. They measure 86 cm high at the backrest, 44 cm seat height, 42 cm wide and 39 cm seat depth. They weigh about 4 or 5 kg.
