Period: 1933-1935. A set of five pieces consisting of two perfume bottles, two lid jars and an open jar of rectangular shape. The color is an apple green; if you shine a uv light on the glass, it takes on a fluorescent hue. The glass is molded and has intricate geometric patterns all over the surface. The seams are visible/rough in some places which is normal for this type of glassware that was made more than a hundred years ago. The dish bears the mark of the verreries de scailmont manage on the underside. This is called ouarline glass; it was produced by adding a small (non-harmful) amount of uranium as a pigment to obtain the special greenish color. Les verreries de scailmont was a glassworks established in belgium (hainaut, manage) in 1901 and was especially famous for its fabulous art deco glass pieces such as those designed by c. Catteau. State: Very good. No damage. Rough seams and some surface irregularities (such as on the edge of one of the bottles) are due to the early production process. Size: See photo.
