Traditional Bangladeshi Kantha

Kanthas, traditional period fabrics from Bangladesh. Hand embroidered with different fabrics from old saris / carpets and other decorative elements of the country's ethnic groups, each piece is unique. Irregularity is part of the beauty and uniqueness of kanthas, perfect for brightening up a sofa or covering a bed. To mix with a more contemporary universe, they bring colors and materials to create an eclectic atmosphere. Please note, each piece being an old piece, time has left traces of wear which make these handicraft products unique. No products in poor condition were selected, but we love it when showy patchworks consolidate part of the kantha.
