Midcentury desk

CAPELLE around 60. This model impresses as much with its elegance as with its design. This desk with clean lines offers exceptional visual quality. Note that the shelf top is missing (see photo). Ideal for placing in the center of a room. In light oak, this elegant piece typical of the sixties is made in France. It has three drawers accompanied by brass handles. It features four conical wooden legs. The desk is in very good condition with some signs of wear due to time and use (a few scratches and the varnish has dulled on the top, see photos). It comes from the Capelle house in Montauban, founded in 1962 by brothers Jean and Raymond Capelle. This manufacturer was renowned for the quality of its productions.
