Set of 8 flat plates in iron earthenware from Choisy's 50s

Very nice dessert plates from the manufacture de choisy the king, one of the most prestigious. These plates, slightly after the closure of choisy, were manufactured at the factory in creil and montereau, where production had been moved. We recognize the iron earth barely ivory, very fine, soft, oily and dense, the elegant shape of the wing with little raised and the perfect enamel on a truly artisanal paste, with its irregularities, its manufacturing imperfections. A plate carries a small sparkle among the foliage, a décor with a simple and calm transfer in dark green. No or little trace of use. Diameter 23cm.
