Postmodern Zen table lamp by Sergio & Oscar Devesa for Metalarte, 1980s.

A rare table lamp from the Spanish manufacturer Metalarte, designed by Sergio and Oscar Devesa in the 1980s. The shape of this design is based on the properties and possibilities of the material used. The cast aluminium allows for a delicate and precise execution. The simple shape of the lamp body dissolves into slats at the top, transforming into an elegant ornament. The light penetrates through the slats and showcases the dissolved form.
