Huile de 1998, bords de marne school. The small arm of polangis, also called river or canal of polangis or even ru de polangis, is an artificial channel dug in 1886 and 1, 500 meters long in joinville le pont and champigny sur marne, in order to better sell the surrounding plots to parisians who are canoeists. Jean-pierre blaess was a self-taught painter, living in joinville le pont. He crisscrossed in particular the banks of the marne and participated in many exhibitions in ile de france. He created the bords de marne school with other local painters. Then he settled in 2006 in the south-west in soulac. He passed away in 2017.
