Pair of Eurosit grey tweed armchairs from the 1970s.

French manufacturer of professional furniture, Eurosit was founded in 1948 and still exists today. These armchairs date from the 1970s. The very beautiful cantilever base is made of chrome-plated tubular steel, while the seat and backrest are made of padded laminated wood, covered and assembled with a black plastic elbow. The craftsmanship is of high quality and extremely sturdy, as evidenced by the very good condition of the seats. With the exception of a few minor signs of wear on the plastic and chrome, the appearance is flattering and the structural condition is excellent. The fabric, a mixed wool with a coarse tweed weave, consists of brown, grey, several shades of blue, and a hint of dark orange. Sober and chic for firm comfort.
