Mid-century lamp

A modern, sophisticated lamp with a soft glow and geometric shapes makes this rare gem. Attributed to Bent Karlby. It is clearly reminiscent of many of karlby's classic shapes and materials evident in models such as: the dinette lamp, the omega, and the troika pendant. Produced by lyfa in the 1960s, this danish design pendant lamp is characterized by clean lines, warm colours, and quality materials. The angular shades combined with the plastic diffuser is reminiscent of other danish design icons, including the work of poul henningsen and jo hammerborg. This lamp is in good condition, with some light scratches on the edges of the shade. This lamp takes 100w max standard edison (e27) light bulb and features and is fitted with 2 meters of electrical cord ready to be installed. Shipped from copenhagen, denmark in triple-ply corrugated cardboard box for extra security. I would gladly combine items to save on shipping.
