Vintage ragpicker mahogany compass feet revisited

If like claude françois, you love magnolias, but you deplore every year to see them fade, you will love this little ragpicker imagined as an ode to this majestic tree and whose four colorful drawers will never fade. From the bud to the end of the petals through the heart of the flower, you will enjoy the full color palette of its flowering, whatever the season! You will be conquered by its typical sixties graphic look (fin profiles, compass feet, cut of the bottom of the furniture) and its small ultra practical format that will allow it to slip everywhere. This rag picker has been completely renovated. After sanding, its mahogany veneer structure has been protected by a colorless oil that highlights the veining and chocolate tone of this precious wood. The small beech compass feet received the same treatment while the brass handles were thoroughly cleaned and thus regained their original luster. The facades and interior of the four drawers were painted respectively in chartreuse green, white, powder pink and rosewood, colors created exclusively for this piece of furniture from mixtures of ressource paintings. The bottom of the drawers is lined with a graphic fabric that evokes stylized magnolia flowers.
