Kai Kristiansen oak entry unit for FM Mobler, Denmark 1960s

A sleek, elegant, and concurrently functional oak shelving unit, useful in an entry hall or bedroom, was designed by kai kristiansen in the 1960s and made by fm mobler. The original label preserved. This vintage bookcase is entirely modular, and one can arrange it exactly as needed by using an easy system of metal brackets fitting into the rails. The wall unit is a fantastic example of mastery of danish mid-century carpentry skills.  It consists of: One cabinet with sliding doors divided into two parts. Left with an inner drawer with green lining and right with an adjustable shelf. H: 36/w: 85.5/d: 34 cm  Two shelves 24 cm deep. Two metal, black varnished rails 121 cm long. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have examined if the doors and drawers work properly. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and refreshed with thin layer of a new lacquer. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Overall, fantastic vintage condition with very minor traces of use.
