Superb and important stoneware piece signed by the ceramist François Maréchal (born in 1945), an emblematic artist of the La Borne community. Year: 1985 (piece dated and signed under the base) Technique: Stoneware, traditional wood-fired kiln. Magnificent work of texture and subtle nuances of the glaze typical of the flame and ash effects from this type of firing.
