Rare antique printer's plates, printing blocks or engravings with very detailed illustrations of various tools, made of copper and wood, these were used in an old printing house in the early 20th century, ca 1920, made in germany by oscar sperling leipzig, institute for graphic arts industry and stamp manufacturing. The so-called copper engravings, a print of an engraved copper plate, engraving in a material is one of the oldest visual methods. Made in germany, leipzig, made of red copper on a hardwood block, very finely detailed with an eye for detail, they are all small works of art and depict various tools in mirror image.
