RENE DROUET 1899-1993 After studying at the Ecole Boulle, Drouet apprenticed at the Galeries Lafayette with master decorator Maurice Dufrene. He then worked for DIM (Decoration Interieure Mobilier) and entered Jean Domin's studio in 1929. Thanks to a solid knowledge of materials acquired during his years of apprenticeship, he is able to provide furniture and create a complete interior. Passionate about the Art Deco style, Drouet transported it, in the French style of the 40s, until the post-war period. Among his achievements, an apartment on the top floor of a mansion in Parc Monceau for Charles Boyer and Pat Paterson.
