Set of 3 linen towels

The towels are in perfect condition. They didn't have to serve much... They are linen, and the weaving is very fine, very refined, which is for the time, a luxury ... They were hemmed in the hand entirely, which proves that they come from a "big house", and that there was probably a seamstress at home. Large double red stripes form like a frame around the tea towel, and thin dotted stripes occupy the central part. This type of linen becomes slightly thinner when used, as the washing progresses. They date from the second half of the 19th century.
