Handcrafted ceramic candle holders in Bordeaux.

Here are two lovely ceramic candle holders with a beautiful burgundy glaze. I would date them from the 1930s to the 1960s, as their lines evoke the Art Deco style and this burgundy colour is iconic of the 1940s, notably used by manufacturers like Verceram or Saint Clément at that time. However, these candle holders are the result of artisanal work, not mass production, so it's hard to be certain; they could also be from the Vallauris region in the very early 1960s. They are in good general condition for their age, with no cracks; one is intact, while the other has a chip on the glaze. They measure approximately 6 cm in height, 13 cm in length, and 8 cm in maximum width.
