The "filets" model champagne bucket was created in the 1950s. This very refined bar piece has a set of nets on its surface as its only ornaments. This used champagne cooler is characteristic of the modernism of 50s which finds its origin with the bauhaus movement that established the idea that beauty could be obtained by the purity of forms. This champagne cooler reduced to the strict minimum of its shape, reflects christofle's commitment to this modern movement, and for applying it to tableware. This magnificent champagne / wine cooler is in "like new" condition and measures approximately 20.50 cm. In height, has a top diameter of roughly 19.00 cm., is 24.50 cm. Across to the tips of the handles and weights a massive 1, 490 grams. It is stamped "christofle " on the underside and comes with its own anti-tarnish storage wrap for easy storage.
