A hand-embroidered cushion cover made from pure silk threads, featuring a rich abstract composition of ornamental spirals. Blue, purple, pink, and yellow spirals intertwine and respond to each other against a warm golden ochre background, interspersed with wavy bands of soft green and contrasting angular shapes. A fluid composition, almost musical, at the intersection of Art Nouveau ornamentation and postmodern graphics. The technique remains that of Aari embroidery from Kashmir, executed with a crochet method, but here it is adapted to reproduce a contemporary art motif rather than traditional floral compositions.
