Rare pair of high drafting stools designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Side shells made of fibreglass, identifiable by their visible fibres, with an old moulded mark under the seat. Brown textile upholstery with a black border. Universal Base legs in polished aluminium with five branches, swivel columns with manual height adjustment and circular chrome footrests. Professional model from the Eames Drafting Stool family, similar to the EC123 / 622 series, produced by Herman Miller in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Authentic vintage condition. Solid shells. Signs of use, stains on the fabric, scratches and pitting on the chrome parts, visible in the photographs. Note: the chrome on one of the two bases is in good condition, with a nice shine and only slight signs of use. Beautiful original patina. No recent restoration. Height: approximately 103 to 109 cm adjustable. Seat height: approximately 66 to 74 cm adjustable.
