Set of 8 black stoneware dessert plates from the 1970s.

Set of 8 dessert plates in black pyrite stoneware by ceramist Jean-Claude Séris, late 1970s. The super flat disc shape, the coil turns, the shiny black-brown glazes speckled with grey and red pyrite, the very low wing at a right angle, the random fire events, everything is sublime here, the object so simple and its poetic strength. Each plate is photographed separately. Diameter 18cm. The flat plates are also available here. When you know, you know!
