Marquetry commode in Louis XVI style – late 19th century

Elegant antique chest of drawers in marble and bronze in the Louis XVI style, this piece showcases the craftsmanship of French cabinetmakers from the late 19th century. The structure is made of walnut veneer and walnut burl, offering a superb play of grain with warm hues. The front is beautifully adorned with panels of marquetry in precious woods, including a central decoration representing a flower vase, an emblematic motif of the Louis XVI style.
