Superb antique mirror in Louis XVI style.

Superb antique mirror in Louis XVI style, probably dating from the 19th century, made of carved and gilded wood. It features a magnificent openwork pediment, adorned with a quiver and a torch crossed, surrounded by a crown of laurel and finely carved foliage. The frame is embellished with floral motifs, pine cones, and decorative friezes characteristic of the Louis XVI style. Beautiful old gilding with an authentic patina, showing signs of age, some cracks, and visible old repairs, particularly on the back of the pediment. The glass, likely antique, is in very good condition, with only two or three tiny spots of pitting. The back retains its old wooden boards and shows signs of previous interventions.
