Workshop stool in vintage patinated solid wood

The stool is in very good condition, no shortages, it is complete, all the reinforcement bars are present, and the assemblies are solid. It consists of a solid wood base, the four feet of square section of 3 cm side are connected by double trunnion reinforcement bars. The top is made of plywood with a thickness of 1.5 cm, and has been pierced with an oval handle, which makes it easy to move the stool at will. The whole thing was painted a long time ago in off-white. The paint is original, and has been patinated by use, it is peeling at the edges, which creates a pretty patina, full of charm. The stool has been fully waxed with natural beeswax, and for maintenance it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. Seat height 47 cm. Seat area 31 cm X 31 cm. French artisanal work of the 50s, the stool having probably been made from reused wood, by some skilled handyman.
