Set of 4 dining chairs by Maison Regain

Set of 4 rare high chairs, designed and produced by Maison Regain in France in the 1970s. These pine chairs with a remarkable playful backrest in the shape of a chessboard have been fully restored in our own workshop. We have checked the sturdiness of the construction and completely refinished the wood. We have also reupholstered the seats with high-quality Belgian fabric Kaiyo. This washable 100% polyester fabric is fluid like the ocean, but with a thick appearance. The use of different threads creates a pattern of subtle lines that gives the cold white fabric a bit more body. In very good condition.
