Very old and magnificent color lithograph of butterflies - Illustration of Heterocera (Heterocera in Latin), including the Pistacina, of the suborder Noctuae - This plate is an original from 1887. It is not a copy but an engraving of more than 130 years! - Size: 28 X 21 cm - A detailed and realistic work from a specialized book; with about thirty different species illustrated - The condition of the engraving is very good: edges just a little worn, dirty or stained. His entomology collections, Butterfly are kept at the Natural History Museum in London and by the National Museum of Natural History in Washington.
