Salon table Louis XVI period in marquetry walnut, XVIIIth

Very moose coffee table from louis XVI. This table from the end of the 18th century is worked in walnut, walnut bramble and sycamore. It has a beautiful curly (beautiful marquetry) with geometric decorations in sycamore and sycamore tinted. On the front the drawers worked in walnut and walnut bramble are magnificent. The uprights are dressed in marquetry net. The second tray also has a nice decorative work. This piece of furniture is very original because it has only one drawer and a secret box. The main tray moves while pulling down and reveals a compartment upholstered in light purple suede fabric. In this trunk, the inner tray is also removed using two leather tabs and discovers a new secret compartment. Finally a classic drawer closes the row. Three-point anchor lock.
