Pair of vintage 4 light wrought iron brutalist massive candlesticks

Rare and superb pair of massive and imposing candlesticks, vintage 40s-50s, in wrought iron, magnificent, 4 lights, cups with candle spikes. Bases composed of 4 arched feet, body in square rods decorated with 4 curved flat rods, topped with 4 flat rods curved inwards, each holding a slightly hollow round cup with a spike in its center. Very beautiful artisanal ironwork, unsigned, silver-plated metal in dark steel color, patinated by time. Very massive objects in a brutalist or medieval style. Pieces of very good quality, very decorative and very unusual. Imposing with their 31cm total height and their 33.5cm maximum diameter. They are in very good condition for their age, but nevertheless have some defects, in particular some traces of oxidation, on the feet and cups, quite discreet, and on a cup quite visible but harmonious, in their juices. The spikes have scratches, discreet. The cups are also more or less wobbly (except 3) and one can be removed, expect possible repairs. Between 4 and 5kg each approximately.
