Italian Design CARIMATE Dining Chair by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, Italy 1960

Vintage Midcentury Modern Italian Design 'CARIMATE' Dining Chair by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, Italy 1960's. Cassina produced the Carimate chair series in 1963. This chair have an original vermilion red lacquered wooden frame with a woven rush cane seat. In original used condition with signes of use. Dimensions approximately: 48 cm length, 43 cm depth, 74.5 cm height and 44 cm seat height. Designer Vico Magistretti was a master in creating playful designs with eye for detail. This set of chairs where part of the interior he designed for the Carimate Golf Club in Italy. The architecture of this club was also by his hand.
