Beautiful vase by Jean Gerbino, potter from Vallauris, circa 1950s. Height: 13 cm. Red terracotta decorated with a very graphic abstract geometric pattern: a checkerboard in shades of blue, mint greens, browns, and blacks, complemented by linear incised motifs. A rich and dynamic palette very characteristic of the geometric style of the 1950s. Overall good condition, slight signs of use. Signature "Gerbino" engraved under the base. Dimensions: H. 13 cm.
