Rosewood conference table by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno 1968

Exceptional, probably unique piece. Conference table by the famous italian designer osvaldo borsani produced by tecno in 1968 (labels on the legs). Special order for the board of directors of a large group to bring together its 24 members. The dimensions of this table are simply extraordinary with a so-called "barrel" shaped rosewood top 6m long and 1.88m wide in the center, 1.44m at the ends, at a height of 75cm. It is composed of 2 beveled half-trays 6 cm thick joined together by 4 bolted lag screws, the whole resting on 3 splendid propeller feet of 1.2m in diameter (3 branches for the 2 exteriors, 4 for the central foot) in brushed stainless steel with adjustable glides. In superb condition, just note a few fine scratches and small areas of varnish wear (see photos), without impact on the general aesthetics. This is a table of exceptional beauty (difficult to highlight in photos without setting the scene) which is offered to you for sale. It will be ideal for meetings with your colleagues and why not as a dining table in a reception room.
