Art Deco Display Cabinet

Elegant and full of character, this Art Deco display cabinet in natural oak embodies all the refinement of the 1930s. Likely an old bonnetière with a mirror, it has stood the test of time while retaining its carved details and slender appearance. A strong piece, both decorative and functional, ideal for showcasing tableware, books, or precious objects. Materials: natural oak (solid and veneer). Features: this Art Deco display cabinet, probably an old bonnetière with a mirror, opens with a glass door in the centre and a drawer. The door, which locks, and the drawer each have a delicately sculpted metal handle with floral motifs. The sides and doors of the cabinet are also adorned with lovely floral patterns typical of the 1930s and the Art Deco style. Inside, the cabinet is fitted with three fixed-height natural wood shelves. Renovation: the cabinet has been completely sanded on the outside to remove the white paint it was covered with, revealing its lovely patinated oak. A glass pane has been installed in the centre of the door in place of the damaged mesh that had likely replaced a mirror. The handles have been cleaned.
